Good advice. Qualified installation.

Know what to check for gas and electrical work before your home upgrade begins.

Gas work: check TSSA registration.

For gas equipment, ask for the contractor’s TSSA registration and the technician’s appropriate certification. Confirm that the proposed scope is covered before installation.

Visit the Technical Standards and Safety Authority

Electrical work: check the ECRA/ESA licence.

Ask the electrical contractor for its ECRA/ESA licence number. Discuss the required electrical notification, inspections and documentation for your heat pump, panel or other electrical work.
