Who handles your request
Ontario Energy Affordability Services uses the information you submit to respond to your selected enquiry and coordinate the next step with you.
Information you provide
Request forms collect your name, email, postal code and the details needed to respond. A device request also collects a delivery address and city. Phone numbers and marketing permission are optional. Do not submit financial documents or sensitive identification through the forms.
How requests are used
Information is stored to handle your selected request, arrange device fulfilment or follow up on a home upgrade enquiry. Device requests and rebate enquiries are tracked separately. Promotional email permission is recorded separately and is not required to receive your device.
Tools and third-party content
The comparison and program-matching tools calculate results in your browser and do not submit your answers. External program links take you to their own websites and privacy practices. Embedded videos contact YouTube when you choose to load them.
Home energy support chat
The support chat is an automated assistant. When connected, your question, recent conversation and current page are sent to OpenAI to prepare a response using our reviewed programme information. The website does not save chat transcripts or create an enquiry record from a chat. Provider processing is subject to its privacy and retention policies; the request disables response storage. Do not include account numbers, identity documents or financial records. Chat suggestions are information, not programme approval or an emergency service.
Storage and access
Submitted details are stored in the website's protected request system. Operational access is restricted. Campaign source information can accompany a request, but personal contact details are not sent to website analytics by these forms.
Your choices
Use our contact form to request access, correction or deletion, or to withdraw optional marketing permission. Choose “Privacy request” and include your request reference if you have it. Identity may need to be verified before records are disclosed or changed.
