If you are searching for Enbridge HER rebates or HER+, the current starting point is Ontario’s Home Renovation Savings program. It offers pathways for eligible heat pumps, insulation, windows, smart thermostats and other home-efficiency upgrades.
Is Home Efficiency Rebate still open?
Home Efficiency Rebate (HER) closed to new initial assessments after January 27, 2025. Home Efficiency Rebate Plus (HER+) closed new intake on February 5, 2024. These are legacy programs, not new application routes.
Where should homeowners start now?
For upgrades you plan to purchase or lease, explore Home Renovation Savings. If upfront cost is a barrier, the Home Winterproofing Program and Energy Affordability Program offer income-qualified support. We help you work out which route to ask about first.
Have an existing HER or HER+ file?
Contact your original service organization or Enbridge Gas about your file. A new program application does not automatically transfer an earlier claim.
